The expanded M.V. Mega mall sucks! The worst in town!

I was told to attend olive’s birthday celebration, as usual, after many SMS, many calls, finally everyone agreed to meet up at M.V..
Normally, the only two car parks I’ll choose are Zone G & H.

Reasons: LESS COMPETITORS. Simply because less cars, easily reach the parking lot (lift) & I realise that guys don’t like drive up to the circuit car park. Anyhow, all these reasons had no longer found after this day.

Before we left, Jean reminded us that the parking rate had changed since end of Apr’07, 1st 3 hours, RM2, the remaining, RM1/hr. so, the most we had to pay was abt RM3 (old system: RM1/entry). It’s still ok, since we all know that MV city is expanding… reasonable.

Yin & me went to get my car at level 5a (abt 9:10pm), gosh… numerous cars already jammed there. I couldn’t believe that from the place I parked to one floor lower had took us 30min. All the way, we could see ppl go in & out frm their car, lay down seat, talked on phn… then, another 30min gone, ppl frm California Fitness came out (can recognz frm the bag & their body shape), many muscular men, etc. hai… Yin (wrk in sabah) & me had struggled to get out of the car >yumcha, but all shops closed, due to safety purpose, we preferred to continue our 2 years conversation at once, unbelievable!

Finally, after 1hr 45min pulling hand brake in the jam-packed zone H car park, finally…. i could see the payment hut, for sure I was “ng-soon”. I prepared RM3,

cashier :empat ringgit
me : “huh? Jam pun sudah 2 jam (a bit exaggerate)
cashier:--smile—( another cashier beside him still pressing the calculator. Ohh… now we know the reason, all because of the ‘effective’ new system, play ‘duk-duk’ calculator.)
Yin : “jung-duk-gan calculator, no wonder…”
me : “the new system is really bad lor… (darken face)”.

I know it’s rude to show him my anger, but this is the reverse side of teaching, I hope he will report the complaint and his stress to his superior. That’s the only way to force them improve.

RM4 is not a big amount, but there is no reason for the M.V. management cheats customer money by trapping them 2hr in the car park. It’s really the worst parking system in KL. Shopping mall like Sg.Wang, J.J or Time Sq. are still using this kind of manual collecting $ system, but, at least, they offer alternative ways for payment like ‘touch&go’ or automatic parking ticket vending machine. Not hundreds of cars queuing up during peak hours, terrible! As an originally resident of “Pusat Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur”, I should be ashamed to experience this with a non-KL resident.
