short trip
We planned for a short trip since a month ago, didn’t know where the urge came, I was in a desperate attempt to leave the city. Initially, we wanted to go Pangkor, but it’s the raining season at the west coast now; thus, we moved to the east coast.
Needless to talk about the resort, I admitted, I had made the wrong decision. All I can praise, and is the one and only reason, room hygiene, PASS. It was unexpectedly clean. Apart from this, there’re heaps of lies from the online pictures… hai…
The PAK SU Seafood Restaurant【老叔釀蟹海鮮樓】 is excellent. Take your time browse to their official web page. We ordered the chef’s recommended nyonya steam fish and ‘forgotten what’ prawn. Not a single drop of the gravy left, *exaggerate*, ya… it is exaggeratedly delicious! Nothing can be much better in K.L., as I have tried the impressive ones here.

As we didn’t prepare insect repellent, my dear bf wanted to buy me ‘maen-hiong’ on the way back to the resort. He told the sundries store Pakcik that he was looking for the ‘yang hijau, bakar untuk halau nyamuk’…. gosh! I guess that Pakcik must be laughing to dead. Pakcik replied sarcastically: ”Ini panggil lingkaran nyamuk”.
Balok Beach: we had a good time thr,
Moving along, we went to Teluk Chempedak, the famous seashore in Kuantan, I would say that it was a well-landscape-designed tourism spot. No doubt, this scenic seashore was seemingly look great from far, lined with casuarinas and Rhu trees, rocks; but when I walked down the stair, the higher level (extremely wide sand field) actually filled with the ‘fake’ coarse sand and the ‘real’ fine sand down the slope was only less than 3m widths. No natural beach lor…
Eventually, we dropped by the ‘KUANTAN’ symbolic sign, somewhere along the Pahang River -> head back to K.L.-> 162km -> 51km -> Bukit Tinggi -> Genting -> MRR2, our home.
bao-bei, I got your feedback from WLM this morning. I knew it. Thank you.

short holiday is always refreshing yea ? ;) i just went there on feb but jie, me and my friends had bad experience at pak su. -.- the crabby is not great at all. the captain told us its meaty crab (yuk hai)....but it wasn't meaty at all, as we get mostly shells and the size is dissappointing. crabs in normal klang, pj restaurant taste far better.
